At Padelight, each player is more than a 3D model. He or she is an identity. From the early stages of development, we wanted to build a cast of characters that not only looked good, but also conveyed emotion, style and depth. Our goal was ambitious: to give a soul to every player in the game.
More than avatars, these are digital athletes who breathe paddle
We used body scanning, advanced motion capture and state-of-the-art animation techniques to ensure that every gesture, serve or smash feels as real as on the court. Facial expressions react to each point, creating a visual and emotional experience unparalleled in sports video games. In addition, the dynamic behavior of each player adapts to the performance during the match. Have you won a key point? Your character celebrates with euphoria. Have you lost a game due to unforced errors? You'll see the frustration reflected in his or her face and attitude.
Diversity and inclusion on every track
One of our strongest commitments is representation. We want Padelight to be a game where all players, regardless of their background or identity, can see themselves reflected. To achieve this, we will create a diverse cast of characters in terms of gender, ethnicity, physical build, age and playing style. At the same time, we are working on agreements to incorporate real professional players with official licenses, who will coexist with original and narrative fictional characters, bringing authenticity and freshness.
Personalization that tells a story
In career mode, the player will be able to build his character from scratch: choose his features, his clothes, his on-track style and his favorite celebrations. But customization is not just about aesthetics. The decisions you make throughout the game will affect the psychological and emotional evolution of your character.
Narratives connected through the Padelight universe
Each character, whether professional or fictional, has their own backstory, motivations and rivalries. These micro-stories will be available in story mode, in special events and through unlockable cinematics. Over time, we plan to expand this universe with new characters and interactive bios. In Padelight, playing is not just about competing: it's about meeting, connecting and living.
